The following services are available from Memories Preserve.
Portraiture
We offer flexibility to our clients of portraiture. This flexibility allows our clients to be in a comfortable atmosphere allowing them to relax and enjoy the moment.
We do this by allowing the client to choose the location. The location can be in our studio, a favorite place*, or their home or garden. Locations more than 60 miles from Portland will have a travel charge assessed based on the distance from Portland.
Portrait sessions are by appointment only and typically last 1-2 hours depending on the number of poses and changes of outfits (typically 3-5 outfits).
Our fees are session based and therefore there are no "sitting fees" based on the number of poeple in the pose.
A portrait session includes the following:
- Individual
- Couples
- Families
- Seniors
- Undergrads

Fine Art
We offer fine art prints in a variety of images from Landscapes, Abstracts, and Still Life. For more information or to schedule an appointment to review our collection, please contact us.
Event Photography
We also provide event photography. Some types of events include:
- Sports
- Competitions (Band, Dance, Karate, etc.)
- Family Reunions
A DVD containing a DVD slideshow of the event and a group picture (11x14 size) is included in the final package. Additional individual prints can be purchased separately.
Digital Services
Scanning
We provide scanning services to help you preserve those memories captured before the digital age. Our scanner can scan:
- Prints (up to 8x10)
- Negatives
- Slides
All images will be provided on a data CD or DVD, depending on the quantity of images. We will also perform touch up work on each photo scanned for a nominal fee.
Video Archiving
VCR players are disappearing everyday and being replaced by DVD players. Bring us your VHS tapes and we can capture the video and put them on DVD. We can also capture video from miniDV tapes.

DVD Authoring
Your story is important to us! Bring us your video and we will help you organize it and tell your story by authoring to DVD!
Printing
We use archival paper for our printing. We can print up to size 13x19 prints in house with same day service. For prints larger than 13x19, we can provide prints up to 30x40 size* within 48 hours.
* Print quality is dependant on image file size. Not all images can be printed in larger sizes.
